Welcome to Shelburne Farms, an education nonprofit on a mission to inspire and cultivate learning for a sustainable future. When you stay with us, you’re invited to take in the breathtaking landscape, discover something new through one of our education programs, and explore our 1,400-acre historic campus.

Shelburne Farms Inn offers accommodations at several guest houses, including a transformed, 24-room 19th century country estate home, open seasonally mid-May to mid-October. An integral part of the nonprofit, the Inn serves as an inspiring place to stay and learn — the proceeds from your stay support our mission.

As an overnight or restaurant guest, you’ll enjoy delicious meals prepared with local products and ingredients made here on our working farm, including our cheese, meats, maple syrup, and organic produce.

Just outside the main house, the Flower Gardens are waiting to welcome you, having been lovingly restored for future generations to enjoy.

The beautiful Flower Gardens are accessible from our walking trails, and you are welcome to visit them.
The Inn is located on the shores of Lake Champlain, eight miles south of Burlington, Vermont. It is owned and operated by Shelburne Farms, a nonprofit education organization.
As a guest of Shelburne Farms, you're invited to explore our programs and working landscape.
Enjoy daily afternoon tea in the Tea Room, one of several lovely common rooms at the Inn.
Unwind with a good book in the Library, another common room.
Enjoy quiet time with fellow guests in the Main Hall.
Relax on the terrace and savor local, farm-fresh meals at the Inn's restaurant.
