Welcome Center Guest Services & Sales Associate - August through October
We're seeking a candidate with a passion for agriculture to directly support the mission of Shelburne Farms by connecting our visitors and guests with our local farm products, the programs offered across the farm, and the many ways to explore the farm.
Facilities Maintenance (with onsite housing)
With guidance from the facility manager and as part of the Buildings & Landscape team, you’ll perform diversified duties to improve, repair, protect, and maintain campus facilities and equipment. This role is required to live on-site and housing is provided.
Seasonal Children's Farmyard Educator
We are seeking seasonal Farm-Based Educators to work in the Children’s Farmyard (CFY). The CFY is an outdoor educational space that is open to the public and school groups seven days a week, May through October. The goal of this public program is to educate and connect visitors to agriculture and food systems in a safe, engaging, and hands-on environment.
Seasonal Housekeeper - August through October

This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the inn and cottages across the farm while providing exceptional service to our guests and visitors.

The Farm Cart team connects visitors with delicious and nutritious lunches and snacks, showcasing products from the farm and by other local producers. As you'll be working at the hub of the farm, you'll also have the opportunity to engage with visitors about their meals, sharing information about the farm's mission and sustainable food practices.

The Line Cook at the Farm's food truck prepares and serves simple and nutritious lunches and snacks, showcasing products produced here at the farm and by other local producers. As you'll be working at the hub of the farm, you'll also have the opportunity to engage with visitors about their meals, sharing information about the farm's mission and sustainable food practices.

Seasonal Dishwasher
Our dishwashers work in partnership with our entire kitchen and front of house staff to help create an authentic farm-to-dining experience. We will train staff with no experience however you will need to have open communication skills, able to prioritize tasks in a busy environment while adhering to all food safety regulations and protocols. Rolling application process and we will begin interviewing in mid-March for early May start date.
