With guidance from the facility manager and as part of the Buildings & Landscape team, you’ll perform diversified duties to improve, repair, protect, and maintain campus facilities and equipment. This role is required to live on-site and housing is provided.

Assist the Buildings and Landscape team and Shelburne Farms with 24/7 coordination and support for day to day campus stewardship, operating systems, and services to advance the nonprofit’s mission and goals. This role is required to live on-site and housing is provided.

Our Prep Cook helps the lower kitchen team create simply prepared and great tasting nutritious food that's locally sourced on the farm and throughout Vermont. Our dishwashers work in partnership with our entire kitchen and front of house staff to help create an authentic farm-to-dining experience. We will train staff with no experience however you will need to have open communication skills, able to prioritize tasks in a busy environment while adhering to all food safety regulations and protocols.

Shelburne Farms is a National Historic Landmark and our Inn maintains many of its original furnishings and fixtures. We continue to share this beautiful space with guests and visitors, so we look to you to help us maintain the upkeep and cleanliness of the 24 guestrooms at the Inn, common spaces, as well as the 4 guest cottages across the farm.
