Head up to the sugarbush to see a sugarhouse in action! Enjoy a taste of maple syrup as you learn about the journey of sap to syrup. Explore a sugarmaker’s tools, tap a sugar maple, make maple popcorn, and more!
Whoooo’s in the Sugarbush with Outreach For Earth Stewardship
10:30AM–12:30PM, Saturday and Sunday free
Visit with Outreach for Earth Stewardship to learn about birds that call the sugarbush home with ongoing live bird presentations.
Abenaki Sugaring Traditions and Storytelling
10:00AM–2:00PM, Saturday and Sunday free
Gather around the fire circle to learn how the Abenaki made and used maple syrup throughout history. Learn how this wonderful gift from nature was discovered by the first people of Vermont.
Pancake Breakfast
9:30AM-1:30PM, Saturday $12/adult; $8/children (credit card only)
Celebrate the season with breakfast at the McClure Education Center! Enjoy a stack of pancakes drizzled with our freshly made syrup, plus sausage, hot tea, coffee and apple cider.
Maple Hot Dogs
11:00AM-2:00PM, Saturday and Sunday $8/dog
While out exploring the sugarbush and sugarhouse, swing by the hot dog stand on the south side of the sugarhouse to enjoy a Fifth Quarter Hot Dog boiled in our very own maple sap.
