Special Autumn Activities at the Children's Farmyard

Plan to arrive in enough time to catch the tractor shuttle to the Farmyard. The tractor leaves the Farm Store for the Farm Barn (where these activities take place) on the hour and half hour.

Tuesdays, 12:15 PM: Butter Making
Learn how to create creamy butter and enjoy a taste. All you need is heavy cream, a jar, and a song!

Wednesdays, 10:45 AM: Story Time
Enjoy farmyard stories surrounded by all of the animals we’ll read about. Of course, no farmyard story time is complete without getting to meet a farm animal, tractor, or the garden up close!

Thursdays, 1:15 PM: Goat Hike
Join our adventurous goats for a hike on the farm! Enjoy the views and learn about our goats as they bounce along eating forest snacks along the way. Our walk will be ~3/4 mile and take place over hilly, uneven terrain.

Add these fun activities to your fall schedule in addition to all the regularly scheduled activities in the Children's Farmyard that are offered from 10am to 4pm. See you in the farmyard!
