Pride Hike

Special Events
Fall ABCs 2023

Follow our trails along cow pasture, through the sugarbush, and up hills to find views of Lake Champlain and the Champlain Valley.

Pride Hikes are a collaboration between Audubon Vermont and the Pride Center of Vermont and have been happening every month since June of 2018. They go beyond being “welcoming to everyone” to creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA2S+ community members.

All ages, allies, and families welcome! Youth under 18 years should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Trail/accessibility information:
The walk will be at an easy pace and will cover less than three miles. The group is very flexible about the trails used based upon the needs of the participants. Some trails are flat and wide and on a base of crushed gravel, grass or wood chips, while others are a bit more steep and uneven. Elevation gain is minimal. There are benches and sit spots available along the trail system. In November, the trail conditions are based on the weather and either covered in fallen leaves or snow. As we get closer to the event, Audubon will contact participants about appropriate footwear and other suggested gear. Learn more about our trails.
