Gourmet Mushroom Growing with Madcap Mushrooms

This workshop is open to all skill levels and will walk you through the basics of lab work, grain preparation, incubation, substrate creation, and fruiting techniques –– everything you need so you, too, can grow like a pro. Blake Goldberg is co-owner of Madcap Mushrooms, a gourmet mushroom farm in North Ferrisburgh, Vermont. A U.S. veteran and Texas A&M graduate, Blake is currently finishing a degree in Agroecology at the University of Vermont.

Lindsey Goldberg is co-owner of Madcap Mushrooms and a professional pastry chef. A Le Cordon Bleu graduate, Lindsey has worked in fine pastry and bread for years and currently bakes at O’Bread Bakery at Shelburne Farms.
