Family Bird Walk

The birds are singing! The sun is shining! Spring has sprung!

Join us on the farm for a fun, family bird walk. The Green Mountain Audubon Society will lead us in search of the colorful, cheerful birds that call Shelburne Farms home. After our bird walk, we will meet a live bird of prey with Outreach for Earth Stewardship!  

This bird walk is designed with young learners in mind. Oftentimes, bird walks are long, start in the wee hours of the morning, and require silent walking which is not so easy for our younger learners. This will be a fun way to include our youngest bird enthusiasts in a more casual outing!

We will have extra binoculars and birding guides on hand. This walk will take place over hilly, uneven terrain. 

This program is recommended for ages 7+ and their accompanying adults. Please purchase a ticket for every person in your group attending the program, both children and adults. Registration is required.
