Willard is a retired partner in the investment council firm of Brundage, Story and Rose, since acquired by Bessemer Trust. He is an emeritus trustee of Middlebury College, a former Trustee of Champlain College, a founder of the Otter Creek Gorge Land Trust now merged with the Middlebury Area Land Trust, and formerly served on the investment advisory committee of the Vermont Community Foundation.
