Dana Hudson has worked for farm-based education programs for over 25 years, 18 of those at Shelburne Farms as an educator, a program coordinator, and administrator. She has taught in classrooms and on farms, coordinating a variety of Farm to School programs and networks, writing resource guides, and running professional development courses/workshops. She has a Masters in Environmental Studies, focused on agriculture education and nonprofit administration. She grew up on a family farm and has dedicated her career to improving the livelihood, status, and lifestyle of farm families like her own. She owns and runs a small family farm in Waterbury Center with her husband and 2 kids. She is now serving as the coordinator of the Vermont Farm to School and Early Childhood Network.
